The update on May 17th, 2008 added the filtering SwiftSwitch previously had. This was added to make the IRC Client acceptable according the Jagex's 3rd party guidelines.
To remove the filtering temporarily, type /mode yournick -f
To remove the filter permanently, go to the IRC Start window, then to Options then click the IRC tab, and un-check the Enable message filtering check box.
Thats it, your done! You are free to view links, and words filtered out by the censor. (Unless the channel has the mode G set, which everyone in the channel is filtered.)
