Can I use IRC networks other than SwiftIRC with SwiftKit Mac?
We plan to integrate a much better IRC client into SwiftKit Mac sometime this year. It's a big task and we want to get it done right - without having to push back the SwiftKit Mac release date.
To access another IRC network, you need to drag the URL for their web-IRC into the IRC frame within SwiftKit.
This works best if the IRC network has a qwebirc client installed - which fits the frame nicely, but CGI:IRC and others should work fine too.
